My SaaS: Letterly

Your newsletter, on social. In your own voice.

Writing the newsletter was never the hard part. Posting it was.

I have been writing a newsletter for more than a year, and the posts that were supposed to follow every edition never did. Between university, a part-time job and side projects there was no time left to post, so I built Letterly to do that part. The newsletter now sits at 1,157 subscribers, none of them paid for, and in the last three months, using Letterly consistently, it grew by 546.

The Letterly loop: you send an edition to the list you already have. Letterly turns it into posts and publishes them across four feeds. Those posts reach people who are not on your list yet. Some of them stop, read, and follow the link back to you. A few subscribe, so the next edition goes out to a bigger list.

Newsletter: my notes to 10K

A weekly build-in-public log of me building Letterly alone, from €0 to 10K MRR. One email a week: what shipped, what broke, and the real numbers. Subscribe on Beehiiv.

  1. No. 24: This was getting embarrassing (Sep 20, 2026). Finally fixing what's been bugging me: Letterly's design gets a professional overhaul from vibecoded to clean and minimal.
  2. No. 23: The thing I'd been hiding is finally out (Sep 11, 2026)
  3. No. 22: I almost didn't write this (Sep 5, 2026). When credits run out, the planning begins: How I'm redesigning Letterly's free plan to deliver real value.
  4. No. 21: Half the users weren't (Aug 28, 2026)
  5. No. 20: I gave my AI a lobotomy (Aug 19, 2026). and it started writing way better.
  6. No. 19: Nobody else does this yet (Aug 13, 2026). Nobody else does this yet: Paste a URL, get AI personas in seconds. Cut onboarding friction and boost conversions with smart automation.
  7. No. 18: 8 months later. and it FINALLY happened (Aug 4, 2026). Your first paying customer arrived, and it had nothing to do with the code. Here's what actually worked.
  8. No. 16: 178 clicks and not a single sale (Jul 28, 2026). The ads did their job. My landing page didn't.
  9. No. 15: Letterly isn't just a repurposing tool anymore (Jul 20, 2026). I gave people a blank canvas. And someone else's writing brain.
  10. No. 14: I built the thing that was scaring people off (Jul 12, 2026). 61 new faces, and I finally fixed the confusion.
  11. No. 13: My app is leaking and my users are lost (Jun 29, 2026). Two gaps. Neither one is the user's fault.
  12. No. 12: The problem was never the code (Jun 23, 2026). Turns out I was the bottleneck.
  13. No. 10: 4 platforms. 100M credits. One very tired founder (Jun 10, 2026). This newsletter is late because I spent the week buried in code. Worth it. Letterly now posts to Threads and Facebook, I found a way around Meta's verification nightmare, and I set roughly 100M Bolt credits on fire doing it.
  14. No. 7: A week of thinking instead of shipping (Jun 1, 2026). I barely touched the codebase. Instead I spent the week figuring out which platform to build next, talking to nobody (allegedly), and accidentally making an ad I'm proud of.
  15. No. 6: Chaotic week, but the images finally look good (May 24, 2026). Not much got done, but the two things that did make the images way less ugly. I'll take it.
  16. No. 5: I shipped two features while my thesis was kicking my ass (May 18, 2026). Slower week, but community posting on X is live, AI images with brand identity are in, and somehow I'm still standing.
  17. No. 4: Real users, real bugs, real momentum (May 10, 2026). I sent a lot of cold DMs, fixed a lot of bugs I didn't know existed, and somehow 11 people are now using Letterly. Wild week.
  18. No. 3: real users: 1, fake testimonials: 0 (May 3, 2026). I spent the week fixing invisible things, admitted the testimonials are fake, and started begging people to use my app. Progress.
  19. No. 2: Not every week is a banger (Apr 27, 2026). Sometimes the week just gets away from you. Here's what still got done and what's coming next.
  20. No. 1: Okay, Letterly is actually getting good (Apr 19, 2026). A lot happened this week. The agent got smarter, the pricing got simpler, and I'm one step closer to an app that just runs without you.

Big wins

University

I finished my architecture degree. I'm writing the master's thesis now, for delivery in November 2026 and defence in December 2026.
